Audrey Keaney, MA
I became a therapist because I love supporting people in doing the deep, courageous work of exploring their inner world, facing shadow and vulnerability, uncovering patterns, and reconnecting with themselves in a meaningful, embodied way.
You may notice patterns repeating in your life, feel disconnected from yourself or your body, or sense deeper layers of your experience waiting to be understood. You might long for deeper relationships with yourself or others, or for more depth and meaning in your life. You want more than coping strategies and practical solutions. You are seeking space to slow down, reflect, and understand the deeper layers of your experience.
I aim to create a space where you can feel safe enough to explore your most tender, vulnerable, or often unspoken aspects of yourself—fears, longings, fantasies, desires, and dreams. Together, we illuminate hidden patterns and internal dynamics, supporting more clarity, self-compassion, and embodied insight.
***I offer a sliding scale for those in financial need.

Psychotherapy Services
My approach is rooted in depth psychology, integrating somatic therapy with psychodynamic, Jungian, and parts-based frameworks, alongside mindfulness and transpersonal practices. We engage in depth-oriented exploration of emotions, patterns, and embodied experience, helping you metabolize difficult experiences, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate meaningful growth.
I support clients navigating trauma, grief, life transitions, perinatal experiences, sexuality and intimacy, relational challenges, and spiritual growth. I also provide support for psychedelic integration, supporting clients in making sense of these experiences and weaving insights into daily life.
I consider the therapeutic relationship sacred and have found that true healing happens in the safety of a trusted connection. The intimacy of being deeply known and understood is rare, and I strive for my clients to feel fully seen, understood, and challenged in ways that help them engage more deeply with themselves, their emotions, and their life patterns. In our work, we attend to your inner world, creating the conditions for deep insight, embodied understanding, and lasting change, not quick fixes, but meaningful, integrative growth. I am deeply committed to this work and honored to support those ready to engage in the deep, transformative work of therapy.
Professional Background
I am a doctoral candidate pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where my dissertation research focuses on women’s experiences of childbirth. This work reflects my broader commitment to supporting the initiatory experiences of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood through both clinical practice and research. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan.
As a Board Registered Psychological Associate, my psychodynamic and somatic training includes clinical work at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and Bay Area Clinical Associates in Berkeley.
Outside of my clinical practice, I am a certified yoga teacher, and I teach classes for veterans at the Palo Alto VA, where I also assist in clinical trials exploring yoga as a treatment for Alzheimer’s, chronic pain, and Lyme disease.
